About the event
Drawing for Guides - Thursday October 8th 2020 @ 7pm CT
We will kickoff this year's event with a Random Drawing for Guides. If your team registers to participate with a Guided Boat, your team will be entered into a random selection drawing. The random drawing will be held 1 week prior to the to event. This will allow Teams & Guides to communicate prior to Tournament Day and discuss strategy and skill sets.

Option 1 - Day before fishing tournament (Thursday 3pm-10pm at the Storm Shack in Matagorda TX.)
Option 2 - Day of fishing tournament (Friday morning beginning at 5:30am at Matagorda Harbor)

Weigh-in at Matagorda Harbor
This year, we will have food and live music at the STORM SHACK during the Tournament Awards. The raffle and live auction will also be held at after the weigh-in. This will allow everyone to enjoy the outdoors in Matagorda on Saturday. See the guided trips we will have available for Saturday and Sunday on the REGISTRATION page.
Lodging Options
This year ASPIN will not provide lodging accommodations as part of the tournament entry. Be sure to book your lodging soon.

Some of the best hog hunting in Texas is in Matagorda County. Four person, night vision hog hunts are available for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. These trips are for up to 4 persons. All guns, ammo, and night vision gear is included. Hogs will be cleaned if desired. Tips are excluded, but highly recommended.
